Randy has been inundated with a flurry of songs and just recently poems are being sprung from his well. We both hope that you are able to enjoy the flow.
A Fresh One Every Twenty Minutes
Today I was looking at the news highlights and came across and admirable young employee, who works for Tim Hortons in Windsor, Ontario and his manager helped deliver a seven pound baby this morning. You know you are addicted to Timmy’s coffee when you would rather deliver at your favorite coffee shop than go to the hospital. For those of you who may not know, Tim Hortons prides itself on delivering a fresh pot of coffee every twenty minutes. I hope this does not translate over to childbirth too! Mind you it would be a cheap way to deliver kids.
To Selasie From Randy
Selasie, Liz told about your Mom passing. I have something I would like to share with you.
EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
It may seem he’s not with you or even by your side
When you are down and just don’t feel right
As you go through this life day by day
You know that he is with you every step of the way
CHORUS:
He’s your friend , he’s your brother
He’s your leader and a father
His love will never lead you astray,
He is with you every step of the way.
When you’re feeling lonely and you need a friend
When life’s hard road never seems to end
When the beacon of light seems to fade some days
You know that his is with you, every step of the way
CHORUS
When the pain in your heart takes the laughter away,
When the burdens of life, makes you so afraid
There is not a word you need God to say
You know he is with you every step of the way.
CHORUS
I know it seems hard now, but time will heal.
Hugs, Randy
I BELIEVE
I believe the world won’t end
If it had the chance to mend
I believe we could all be friends
If more people would learn to bend
I believe the world would be
A better place without the greed
I believe in harmony
And alot less psychology
I believe
Young Soldiers
Young soldiers were sent to a land
To fight against the Taliban
They fought with pride and never ran
To help the people in Afghanistan
Some will say the went for no need
While in their hearts they truly believed
They went over to do what they can
To help the people in Afghanistan
We wish that war had never began
So many lives lost in that desert sand
But if asked, you would do it again
To help the people in Afghanistan
One day that war will be over, hopefully you’ll leave most memories behind
And get the help you may need - to unlock it from inside your mind
I thank you for what you have done,
To help the people in Afghanistan
Great songs. I like ‘I believe in Harmony and a lot less Psychology’.
